Frequently Asked Questions 1. How long must I stay with NetMail? Is there a contract? There is no minimum contract, and you don't need to pay months in advance. You can terminate your account at the end of the month in which you give written notice. 2. How much will it cost? You can see details of our charges on this website. All charges exclude VAT at 17.5%. We are always pleased to give you a firm quote before we start any work, so you know exactly what it will cost. 3. How will people find my site? If we design your website we will also carefully prepare it for the Search Engines and then regularly submit it every two weeks. We monitor the search engines and make adjustments as necessary. We will work with you to make sure people find your website. 4. How long will it take? We can usually create and upload your website within one week of receiving your registration, the information for your website and your initial payment. For larger projects we will keep you informed of progress and as we often design sites 'live' you will be able to watch progress yourself on the web. 5. How can I make changes? Simply send us an e-mail detailing the changes and we will get them done as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours (and often less!).You can also phone or fax through the changes. We will let you know the cost of the work if required. 6. How quickly can you give me a quote? We can give you a good idea of costs when you phone or by return e-mail. We will prepare your detailed quote the same day where possible and post or e-mail it to you. 7. Are you VAT registered? Yes. VAT will be charged at 17.5% where applicable. We will issue a VAT invoice for all payments made to us. 8. Can you handle secure orders? Yes, we can arrange for secure orders to be taken using SSL via our secure server. 9. Can I accept credit card payments via the Internet? Yes, provided you already have a merchant credit card account, or we can assist you in setting up an account with a on-line card clearing service. 10. How long have you been in business? We have been providing web sites since 1997 and have been a member of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce since 1999. You can be sure that we will be there when you need us.
